Friendly staff (and a female Boxer) right from the beginning, good selection of beverages and food too. Toilets are traditional but clean. We sat in the bar area with our nervous pooch, had a chinwag with the locals, filled our tummies and left. Would recommend.
Perfect spot, very dog friendly staff, free parking, the shower was really great and the room was pretty and very clean. Best value for price, highly recommended. I had a good hot breakfast too in the morning.
Food is priced to fit everyone pocket and not over priced ,the standard of cleaning isn't brilliant some of the tables are so sticky your arm sticks to them , but don't let this put you off staff are friendly and you will enjoy your food . We have been a couple of times over the past week so things can't be that bad and that's coming from a x chef .
Came in just for breakfast, amazing value, very tasty definitely coming here again. Service staff Gem! soooo lovely.
I can't comment on rooms as we only went in for food. Staff were great, and the service was too. I ordered the ham & chips, it may just be me, but I wasn't impressed with having cold meat on my plate surrounded by hot food. I did think the ham would be hot, too, but it was a though it came straight out the fridge. Overall, it was a nice experience.

They are very dog friendly pub. Have a great choice of food. On this occasion we ordered sandwiches and loaded fries. The sandwiches were standard, the loaded was nice. They used to have a dog menu available but no longer.
This is a lovely place to stay and the rooms are quite big including the bathroom! We got there late and they were very nice to give us instructions and how to check in and where to call. We were only there for a night but the staff were really friendly and helpful!
